Our 8th Annual Compete for a Cause soccer event will be held during the Mason vs Okemos High Schools’ boys soccer game on Sept. 21, 2019, at the Mason High School soccer stadium. This is the kick off of a week’s worth of activities throughout our communities and will include a silent auction, t-shirt sales, 50/50 raffle and much more.
Funds raised from the 2019 event will be donated locally, helping the kids being treated right here at home through local non-profits and healthcare providers dedicated to caring for kids with cancer. Additionally, proceeds will be donated to St. Baldrick’s Foundation – an impressive national organization that is the largest (non-government) funder of childhood cancer research grants. St. Baldrick’s mission is to find cures for childhood cancers and to give survivors long and healthy lives. Visit StBaldricks.org for more information.
