In just 2019, we gave over $9,000 to Lansing area families facing pediatric cancer. This included funding for advanced operations, resources to seek treatment, and basic necessities for those who couldn’t afford it.
ST. BALDRICK’S FOUNDATION
Over the past decade, Compete For A Cause has donated $90,000 to St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the nation’s largest provider of grants to fund childhood cancer research. If you would like to make a direct donation to St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you can visit stbaldricks.org/give.
MSU PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY CLINIC
In 2019, almost $12,000 of Compete For A Cause funds were used to fund materials and equipment for the MSU Pediatric Oncology Clinic. The money supports research in pediatric cancer treatment and the use of better technologies during treatment.
